Year: 2021
Type: university project
Used tools:
Adobe XD
Adobe Illustator
the goal
The project involved designing a mobile app and a landing page for a fictional startup, Eat Local, which allows users to buy zero-kilometer products directly from local farms and have them delivered to their doorstep.
The goal was to create a digital experience aligned with the brand’s values, simple to use, user-centered and consistent across every touchpoint.
the problem to solve
The project required the complete design of the service from scratch: from initial research to defining the business model, all the way to designing the visual identity, the app, and the landing page.
Ensuring consistency across all elements and delivering a smooth, intuitive UX was essential.
the process
research & analysis
The initial phase of the project was dedicated to an in-depth analysis aimed at defining the context and understanding user needs. The main activities included:
brand creation
Based on the brand’s values and the insights gathered during the research phase, I developed the company’s visual identity with the goal of conveying a fresh, genuine, and recognizable image:
Moodboard to define the visual style and brand atmosphere
Brand design
“The brand combines three elements: the initial of the name, a vegetable (a turnip), and the geolocation symbol to represent the concept of home delivery. Two versions of the icon were created: one in flat colors, intended for print and branded products, and one with gradients, designed for the web, the app, and other digital channels. The chosen colors are bright and vibrant, inspired by high-quality, natural, and authentic agricultural products.”
the final product

landing page
To complete the project, I designed a landing page aimed at promoting the Eat Local service and making it easy to download the app from major stores.
